Hey there!

My name is Kolby Tallentire and I love traveling more than just about anything. I currently live in Denver, Colorado with my husband, Alex, but we’ve lived in a few locations scattered around the U.S. Alex grew up in a small town in Ohio while I grew up in an even smaller town in Indiana, eventually meeting through a post-college program in Indianapolis.

Despite my Midwestern roots, the travel bug bit me quite young. Instead of relaxing by a pool or taking a trip to the beach during my summer breaks, my parents carted my brother and I around to historical sites, national parks, and bustling cities. I learned more about the world through travel than I ever did in history class.

In my adulthood, I’ve been fortunate enough to continue crossing countries and continents off my bucket list. I’ve been in the marketing field since graduating from college and have been working remotely since 2017. That flexibility has come in handy when I’ve needed to scratch my ever-present travel itch.

I started this site because I take genuine joy in talking about travel. Friends who ask me for travel recommendations are always surprised (and perhaps horrified) when they receive short novels detailing everything they need to see, do, and enjoy while they’re away. With all that travel knowledge floating around my head, why not share it with the world?
